Per diem Neurohospitalist physician to join our Comprehensive Stroke center at Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend.
Peace Health is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center between Portland, OR, and Sacramento, CA. We serve a large rural catchment area including southwest, coastal Oregon, and the surrounding Eugene/Springfield communities. Peace Health at River Bend regularly receives referrals from critical access hospitals in these areas. Peace Health is a Level II trauma center focused on individualized patient care and safety.
Position Details:
- 7 on/7 off schedule (day and night shifts)
- Supporting a large catchment area in Oregon (5 counties)
- Continuing our 10th year of Gold Plus recognition
- Dedicated 16-bed Neurocritical Care Unit
- 24-hour coverage
- Tele Neuro pilot program in progress
- Compensation: $185.46/hour
The Eugene and Springfield communities are located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, known as Oregon wine country. Enjoy outdoor activities along the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers, explore the vibrant downtowns, or visit the University of Oregon in Eugene. It's a desirable location to live, work, and play in the Pacific Northwest.
