About the Opportunity:
This physician contract position in gastroenterology encompasses both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing essential care through various procedures such as Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in a full-time capacity. Physicians conduct thorough assessments and deliver specialized treatments to adult patients. Collaborative interactions with two other physicians in the department ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity. With a structured 8-hour day schedule, physicians attend to an average of 15 patients daily.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $337.01 to $398.29 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive gastroenterology assessments and creating customized care plans.
Providing procedures such as Polypectomy, Biopsy, and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS).
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Monitoring and documenting patient progress during and after procedures.
Staying informed on current gastroenterology practices and therapeutic advancements.
