Hospitalist

Pay Rate: $180-$200/hour (Flexible and negotiable based on experience)

Assignment Type: Onsite, Full-Time Locum Coverage (13 Weeks to Start, Possible Extension)

Schedule: 3x12 Hour Day Shifts | 7:00 AM-7:00 PM | No Call

A hospital system in Oregon is seeking an inpatient Hospitalist to provide full-time locum coverage in Springfield, OR. The assignment is set to start once credentialed and will run for 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

This is a floor-only role with no call and no ICU management. The intensivist team runs all in-house codes, and the Intensivist group or IR handles procedures as needed. Rounders can expect approximately 15 patients per day, and admitters approximately 7 per day. Adult patients only.

• Round on approximately 15 patients per day (rounder) or admit approximately 7 patients per day (admitter)
• Manage admissions, daily care, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with the intensivist team, IR, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in Epic
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

• Board Certified required
• Active Oregon state license required (candidates with a license in process may be considered depending on ETA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS certification required
• No call and no ICU management
• Start: once credentialed
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
