The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day and is a designated Level III Trauma Center.

• Accepts responsibility, accountability and authority as a unit manager on a 24-hour basis.
• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staff of the ED.
• Ensures high-quality patient care.
• Manage scheduling.
• Responsible for hiring, counseling and termination.
• Staff development and team building.
• Conflict resolution and peer communication.
• Coordinate Maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Trauma coordinator reports directly to Director of Emergency Department.
• Coordinates with the multidisciplinary team to maintain functional clinical pathways.

• Current Oregon RN License.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities; good communication skills, ability to inspire confidence in others.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate change, commitment to promoting growth of others.
• Maintain knowledge base of current nursing practices.
