Position Details:
- Hourly Base Rate: $43.47 - $52.26
- Shift: Varies
- Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week plus Rotating Call
- SEIU Local 49 represented position

Job Summary:
- Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director and interpreting physicians, performs MRI procedures according to established protocols.
- Oversees MRI daily operations, quality control, care and maintenance of equipment as well as coordination of daily patient workflow.
- Assists in program development, marketing services, staff training and orientation as well as policy and procedure implementation when requested.
- Acts as clinical expert for department and ensures all MRI accreditation and equipment requirements are met.
- Performs designated supervisory functions.
Educational/Licensing:
- Current ARRT registry and Oregon State licensure.
- Advanced registry in MRI and current BLS certification required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years MRI experience required, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Prior supervisory experience with MRI program development and supervision preferred.
- Must have the ability to work efficiently, responsibly and in a team-oriented atmosphere with multiple work demands.
- Previous experience in ACR accreditation preferred.
- Complete working knowledge of MRI equipment, protocols and procedures as well as contrast administration.
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job-specific competencies.
- Must possess strong interpersonal relations skills and high sensibility to the needs of others; including the ability to communicate with patients and their families, physicians, supervisors, peers, volunteers and other customers.
