Job DescriptionManage daily operations, scheduling, labor planning, and productivity while maintaining compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Ryder Maintenance Operations policies.

Salary and BonusSalary determined by internal equity, experience, and qualifications; annual bonus available.
Essential Functions- Operations Management
:
Execute work analysis, vehicle planning, scheduling, shift meetings, and resource allocation; optimize labor mix and shift patterns; oversee Automated Planning System. - Labor Management
:
Train and develop staff, manage performance, execute Technical Training Plan, recommend staffing, handle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and succession planning. - Customer Management
:
Maintain customer relationships, resolve issues, manage communication protocols, optimize vehicle maintenance cycles, and conduct annual customer reviews. - Financial Management
:
Control maintenance budgets, P&L, net maintenance cost per unit, vendor sourcing, invoice reconciliation, and warranty recovery; ensure financial goals are met. - Asset Management
:
Maintain shop appearance, 6S standards, tooling, equipment, vehicle specifications, and parts inventory; coordinate with Rental for PM scheduling and asset readiness. - Quality Management
:
Conduct inspections, root cause analysis, maintain quality metrics, implement corrective actions, ensure compliance with safety and EPA regulations, and uphold documentation standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in labor, financial, quality, safety, and asset processes.
- Strong personal accountability and results-orientation.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
- Data reporting and decision-making experience (preferred).
- Commitment to safety and quality with proven track record.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
- Fleet Management Software experience (preferred).
- Maintenance and technical shop experience (preferred).
- H.S. diploma/GED required.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Four (4) years or more operations experience or prior Ryder experience required.
- Three (3) years or more supervisory experience required.
- Exposure to strategic labor, financial, operating, quality, safety, and asset processes required.

CompensationSalary: $83,000 (minimum and maximum) with potential for annual bonus and incentives.
