About The Job- Shift (Grave):
Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM - Rate of Pay: $21.60 per hour

This entry‑level position is responsible for packaging products manually, performing basic quality control checks, including accurate packaging, package counts, and weight, evaluating product and package appearance. It involves assembling boxes, applying labels, stacking boxes on pallets, placing product on conveyance systems, and supporting machine operators with basic material replenishment.
Responsibilities And Tasks- Safely, efficiently, and accurately perform the duties and responsibilities of a Hand Packer.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Fully engage in all safety, quality, and other company programs.
- Understand and perform lockout tagout (LOTO) and other processes to assure safety.
- Conduct self and encourage coworkers to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the company mission, values, and code of ethics.
- Perform basic quality control checks, including accurate packaging, package counts, dates, and weights, and evaluate product or package appearance.
- Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Danone’s production standards.
- Prepare and package products manually.
- Fold and tape boxes, apply labels, and stack boxes on pallets.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area and sort materials as directed by leadership and operators.
- Move pallets using an electric pallet jack safely to finished goods storage.
- Load product and materials on the lines to support machine operators.
- Track production efficiencies using various methods.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalates problems to leadership in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience – Required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (keyboarding, email, data entry).
- Minimum 6 months of successful work experience involving accuracy, dependability, and teamwork, ideally in a food production environment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Maintain a safe working environment and perform job duties as part of a cooperative team.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English—written and verbal instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Apply basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Demonstrate manual dexterity, packing product into multi-packs at a rate of 140‑180 pieces per minute.
- Demonstrate high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work with sense of urgency in varying temperature environments.
- Use push/pull cart, electric pallet jack, taping, shrink wrap.
- Obtain company certification in safe and proper use of an electric pallet jack.
