REGISTERED NURSE - NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT - NIGHTS Job Responsibilities

• Monitor vitals, administer medications and nutrients, and provide care to newborns.
• Assess, plan, and implement care and interventions to address neonate problems.
• Carry out physician orders.
• Assist physicians during examination, treatment, and procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Provide age- and culturally-appropriate care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient care environment for at‑risk infants.
• Orient and mentor new staff members.
• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

• Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing.
• 1 year level III Neonatal Intensive Care RN experience.
• A Washington State RN Licensure or active multistate RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.

Pay Rate: $50.21–74.61
