Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner

Oregon Urology Institute has openings for a Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner.

Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. The Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.

We are looking for a Physician Associate / Nurse Practitioner who functions as an integral member of a health team, providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in a Urology focused independent medical group. The provider is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with urologic needs.

• Provides care primarily in an office setting, with hospital rounding responsibilities.
• Evaluate patients to determine their medical condition.
• Perform clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner and which are economically feasible.
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Perform other job related duties, as assigned.

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Oregon or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain DEA license.
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
