Oregon Urology Institute has openings for a Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner.
Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. We are looking for a Physician Associate / Nurse Practitioner who functions as an integral member of a health team, providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in a Urology focused independent medical group. The provider is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with urologic needs.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities- Provides care primarily in an office setting, with hospital rounding responsibilities.
- Evaluate patients to determine their medical condition.
- Perform clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner and which are economically feasible.
- Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Perform other job related duties, as assigned.
- Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Oregon or the ability to obtain.
- Ability to obtain DEA license.
- Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
