Location

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, serving the Willamette Valley. 113‑bed hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care.

  • Hourly Base Rate: $49.00-$79.74
  • Shift: Night Shift -  (7p-7:30a)
  • Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week, 12‑hour shifts

Job Summary
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of mothers and newborns, monitoring changes in condition and identifying patient needs.
  • Provide direct patient care to women and their families throughout the stages of labor, birth, and postpartum recovery.
  • Closely monitor maternal and fetal well‑being.
  • Provide specialized nursing care to recovering mothers, including wound care, pain management, and support with hygiene.
  • Perform routine newborn assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure infant safety.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient records, documenting all aspects of care and patient progress.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as RN, State of Oregon.
  • Specific clinical experience may be required for specific position.
  • Current ACLS, BLS certification required.
  • NRP certification required.
  • All certifications must be approved through the American Heart Association.
  • Two years Labor and Delivery, Level 2 Nursery, and/or Mother/Baby experience required.
