An exciting opportunity is available for a Chief of Specialty Veterinarian to lead a dynamic and dedicated team in a well-established specialty practice. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and experienced veterinarian with a strong background in veterinary medicine and leadership experience. The Chief of Specialty Veterinarian will oversee the daily operations of the specialty department and will have the opportunity to develop and implement new programs to enhance patient care and expand the practice’s service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the specialty department, ensuring efficient daily operations and high standards of patient care.
- Develop, implement, and drive new programs and initiatives to continually improve services and patient outcomes.
- Provide direction and leadership to the veterinary team, fostering collaboration and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Work in close partnership with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the practice.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and client communication.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a focus on specialty care.
- Leadership experience in a veterinary setting, including team management and departmental oversight.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to handle complex medical cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
