• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to Target Loyalty program benefits and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet, and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns following policy prompts and seek assistance from leadership as needed while complying with Target policies.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during store hours as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive Up orders, and DU returns while ensuring compliance with laws (e.g., alcohol-related policies where applicable).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Safely scan, handle, and move merchandise; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance is necessary.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Comfort with varying temperatures and conditions; exposure to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
