You will be based in our Springfield, TN location. This shift begins on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, depending on production needs.

• Operate various heavy equipment, monitor processes, and ensure compliance with fabrication standards. Contribute as a team member to team projects.
• Use judgment to check parts for imperfections, troubleshoot processes, and perform minor preventative maintenance on machines.
• Pass a basic skills test within 30 days of training; failure results in disqualification. After completing basic skills, training to move to the 028 Intermediate Level can begin within 6 months.
• Conduct safety checks. Start and stop presses.
• Load steel coils, adjust the straightener, and make steel alignment changes. Rake scrap without tripping safety lights.
• Adjust lubrication levels applied to steel, identify coils, manage feeder accelerations, and perform lead checks.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar industry; press experience preferred.
• Must pass Lockout/Tagout training prior to job assignment.
• Must obtain Yellow Gear certification within 6 months or upon completing basic skills.
• Entry Level 017 position is limited to 9 months; progression to higher levels required otherwise disqualification occurs.
