Utility Operator- Operator III-2nd Shift

Position Title

Plant Assembly Utility – Hourly – Electrolux Home Products

• Perform all duties on the assembly lines and operate a Powered Industrial Truck to provide plant wide support when needed.
• Test and repair ranges and appliances.
• Train new associates on job tasks and assist in follow up of quality issues.
• Troubleshoot functional defects.
• Repair workmanship errors.
• Cover absenteeism or other reasons in the plant.
• May perform other job duties as needed such as insulation wrapper.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience testing, repairing, and troubleshooting appliances or mechanical system.
• 1+ years experience assisting with quality issue resolution and process improvements.
• Must achieve Powered Industrial Lift Truck certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must achieve EMS Yellow Gear Certification within 30 days of hire and EMS Green Gear Certification within 12 months.
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
