As a Security Officer – Manufacturing Access Control in Springfield, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a secure environment for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology.

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Follow site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies, providing customer service to clients, employees, and guests.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and report any security‑related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment at the manufacturing and industrial location.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
