Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Psychiatric Inpatient Unit) – Vermont

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Springfield, Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required (must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:
Thanksgiving Day/Friday/weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day/weekend after, New Year's Eve through New Year's Day/weekend after). No block scheduling. Standard overtime rates apply. No call or call-back requirements.

• 10-bed inpatient psychiatric unit serving adult patients ages 18 and over
• Comprehensive treatment environment for patients from Vermont and neighboring New Hampshire counties
• Small critical access facility setting with collaborative team approach
• Zero hours non-billable orientation
• Limited time-off requests considered (maximum 5 days; all requests must be submitted at time of application)
• Holiday rate multiplier of 1.25%

• Current Vermont RN license
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• 2+ years of current psychiatric nursing experience (required)
• Current phlebotomy experience with demonstrated proficiency in performing blood draws (required)
• ACLS and CPI certifications strongly preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Critical access or small facility experience preferred
• Reliable personal vehicle required
• Current skills checklists: RN/Psychiatry and Phlebotomy (within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
