. This is a pipeline position for future openings on the contract.

Location:

NGA-WASH (NCE);
Full time in the building, Springfield, VA.

Schedule:

Day/M-F. Anticipated Salary Range: $90,000-$97,000.

• The GIS / Cartographic Analyst - Journeyman will work within a government/contractor team environment providing Digital Nautical Chart and Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review as well as provide support to existing and developing mission areas. Future needs and capabilities, as well as developmental assignments, are included.

• Required Qualifications:
  • A total of 5 points of relevant background via one of the following pathways:
  • High School diploma and 5 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.
  • High School diploma and 4 years of experience plus GPC Level I and II certification.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
• Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.
• Clearance: TS/SCI, with a willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph
• Mental Requirements:
  Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.

• Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.
• BA degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
