Syntelligent is seeking a full-time
Cartographic Analyst
for awarded work with a federal client.

Location: Springfield, VA

Schedule: 3:00 - 11:00 p.m., or 3:00 - midnight with a 1-hr lunch (2nd shift)

Anticipated Salary Range: $85,

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

• Work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production, and Review.
• Support existing and developing mission areas, including Digital Nautical Chart or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
• Perform cartographic and GIS analysis by extracting features from various sources, such as rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.

• High School diplomaand5 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.
• High School diplomaand4 years of experience plus
  
  GPC Level I and II certification.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degreeand2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
• Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.
