Why You’ll Love This Role

As a Multifamily Inspector, you’ll play a vital role at the start of every project. Your inspections provide the foundation for accurate proposals that shape how we serve our multifamily and community association clients.

You’ll assess properties, gather key data, and partner with members of the Multifamily team to ensure every estimate reflects true site conditions. Beyond inspections, you’ll help uphold our reputation for quality and professionalism by supporting safety, quality control, and warranty management across projects.

If you’re someone who takes pride in precision, communication, and doing things the right way, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate roofing, siding, gutters, trim, and other exterior systems to determine condition, scope, and recommended work.
  • Capture detailed photos, notes, and measurements that inform pricing sheets and work orders.
  • Partner with members of the Multifamily team to align field findings with proposal accuracy and project scope.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings or walkthroughs with clients to clarify scope and answer technical questions.
  • Ensure all inspection documentation is thorough, consistent, and ready for estimating hand‑off.

Safety and Compliance

  • Model and reinforce Exterior Medics’ safety culture during all inspections.
  • Verify adherence to OSHA and company safety standards, including PPE, ladder, and fall protection requirements.
  • Identify potential jobsite risks and communicate corrective actions immediately.

Quality Control

  • Conduct in-progress or final inspections to confirm workmanship and material quality.
  • Verify that all work meets Exterior Medics’ standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to maintain quality consistency across projects.

Warranty Management

  • Support warranty assessments by inspecting completed projects for workmanship or material concerns.
  • Document findings, determine warranty eligibility, and communicate outcomes to the appropriate team.
  • Track warranty trends to help improve future installations and product selections.
What You Bring
  • 2–5 years of experience in exterior construction, inspection, or estimating (multifamily experience preferred).
  • Strong technical understanding of roofing, siding, and exterior envelope systems.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, digital inspection tools, and CRM systems.
  • OSHA 10 certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple inspections daily across various properties.
Physical Requirements

  • Comprehensive healthcare options for you and your dependents.
  • Free healthcare coverage after your fourth year of employment.
  • Vision and dental plans, life insurance, paid time off, and holidays.
  • Pro‑rated gym membership and company‑provided electronics.
