Engagement Specialist – Middle East Broadcasting Networks

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking an Engagement Specialist to strengthen MBN's presence across all platforms through impactful storytelling, audience growth, and engagement. This role leads digital campaigns, coordinates content amplification, and develops strategies to expand MBN’s reach among Arabic‑ and English‑speaking audiences worldwide.

• Oversee daily publishing and content distribution across all major MBN social and digital platforms.
• Write, curate, and update breaking and current news for distribution across all MBN platforms.
• Create and produce content in multiple formats, including photo posts, carousels, breaking news statements, and other platform‑optimized formats.
• Develop and execute engagement and amplification strategies for MBN content.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and creative teams to align messaging and campaigns.
• Monitor analytics to assess performance and optimize engagement.
• Create, edit, and adapt multimedia content for diverse audiences across video, image, and text formats.
• Identify emerging digital trends and integrate best practices to enhance audience reach.
• Ensure tone, accuracy, and style adhere to MBN’s editorial and brand standards.

• Perform additional job‑related duties and take on new responsibilities as needed based on organizational requirements and circumstances.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or digital media.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing social media for a media organization or brand.
• Native or near‑native fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proven ability to plan and execute successful social media campaigns.
• Strong understanding of analytics, audience targeting, and platform algorithms.
• Excellent writing, visual storytelling, and multimedia editing skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and moderate proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under stress with accuracy and balance.
• Knowledge of current international and U.S. events.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to support a 24/7 news environment.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines.

• Experience with paid media campaigns and influencer engagement.
• Familiarity with social listening and content management tools.
• Understanding of U.S. and Middle Eastern media landscapes.
