The Dental One Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Springfield, VA to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Full‑time Monday–Friday 7 am–4 pm.

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team supporting the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience.

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

• Completion of a one‑year certified dental assistant program.
• 1 year or more on‑the‑job experience (with supporting documentation).
• X‑ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
