Stand-; Installed and Portable Generator Operator

This is a pre-award opportunity located on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

• At least 3 years of documented work experience in all assignments associated with the operation and maintenance of various small diesel engines and generation units.
• Starting, monitoring, and securing engines.
• Paralleling AC generators, transferring, adding or shedding loads.
• Making necessary adjustments to maintain voltage and frequency within specified ranges.
• Take the necessary casualty control and corrective measures for all emergency power generation situations.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge and skills in lube oil and jacket water programs.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge and skills in computer operation and utilization.
