The Network Infrastructure Architect provides enterprise-level engineering and architecture support across DHS networks, including infrastructure development, implementation, integration, data migration, and systems engineering. This role conducts gap analyses, feasibility studies, system design alternative (SDA) assessments, enterprise data management, and open-source integration. It also includes test and evaluation services, acquisition support, requirements analysis, business process reengineering, collaboration tool integration, financial analysis, and architecture verification and validation to ensure DHS systems align with mission and performance standards.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:
15 years experience providing network architecture support for programs related to network systems and infrastructure with over 5,500 field sites, 2 or more datacenters/colocation facilities, and 175,000+ users.
Master Degree in IT or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years supporting DHS Wide Area Network
