Network Engineer; TS​/SCI Security Clearance

Position: Network Engineer (TS/SCI Required) with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a program with the Intelligence Community on-site in Springfield, VA. The Network Engineer will deliver presentations to customer stakeholders and design and deploy network systems in accordance with customer requirements. This is a long-term job opportunity. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:
* Design and develop network configuration and settings as required for selected customer

* Assist in deployment activities

* Develop documentation on customer systems and objectives

* Meet with customers to capture and translate requirements

* Make configuration changes and deploy patches as necessary

* Troubleshoot and engineer Azure cloud environments

Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
* 6+ years of network engineering experience

* Must have active TS/SCI

* Bachelor's degree in related field

* Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols

* Understanding of Express Route and Azure Virtual Networks

* Experience in WAN/Internet transport and routing, including BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN

* Understanding of network security and STIG
Compensation for the Database Engineer include:
* Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
