About Our ClientOur client is seeking an experienced Spectral Integration Engineer to support the engineering, integration, and deployment of advanced spectral exploitation environments within the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Targeting, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) enterprise.
The successful candidate will integrate spectral exploitation tools and technologies that enable Image Scientists to process, analyze, and exploit literal and non-literal datasets. This role requires close collaboration with systems engineers, image scientists, software developers, and other technical stakeholders to deliver interoperable, end-to-end mission solutions while maintaining the integrity and performance of complex system-of-systems environments.
Key Responsibilities- Spectral Exploitation Environment Integration:
Lead the engineering, integration, deployment, and establishment of spectral exploitation environments that support advanced imagery and spectral data processing, analysis, and exploitation. - Spectral Data Integration:
Integrate spectral data into specialized spectral exploitation tools, ensuring compatibility with existing applications, systems, and mission workflows. - Systems Integration:
Engineer and integrate applications, sensors, tools, and services within complex system-of-systems and service-oriented architecture environments across cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures. - Mission Requirements Engineering:
Work with government stakeholders and technical teams to capture, analyze, document, and translate mission and customer requirements into system requirements, capabilities, and technical solutions. - Enterprise Interoperability:
Ensure spectral exploitation applications and systems interoperate effectively within the broader NSG TCPED enterprise and support end-to-end mission requirements. - Technical Planning and Architecture:
Support architectural design, requirements traceability, interface development, workflow planning, scheduling, and the identification of system dependencies and integration constraints. - Cloud-Based Solution Integration:
Integrate and deploy solutions using cloud-based technologies while considering system performance, scalability, interoperability, and operational requirements. - Engineering Lifecycle Support:
Apply systems engineering lifecycle principles throughout requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing system improvement. - Technical Strategy and Advisory Support:
Provide expert technical guidance to government stakeholders regarding engineering strategies, capability development, system requirements, technical planning, and emerging integration approaches. - Performance and
Risk Management:
Support performance engineering, technical risk assessments, project planning, and the resolution of integration challenges affecting system reliability and mission effectiveness. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with systems engineers, Image Scientists, software developers, and other mission partners to ensure integrated solutions meet operational and technical objectives. - Workflow Optimization:
Identify opportunities to automate or improve existing workflows, processes, and scheduling practices within spectral exploitation environments. - Adv…
