MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a National Security Analyst Sr Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the DTRA client/program. See some of the duties and responsibilities listed below:
Provide instruction on the history of strategic nuclear arms control treaties and agreements and participate in group discussions and other periods of instruction to provide experience-based perspectives on U.S. nuclear arms control policy development and implementation considerations. The instructor should have relevant experience with negotiating and/or implementing bilateral arms control agreements and treaties, either as a member of on-site teams; as a member of a negotiating body;
or in an advisory capacity. Experience should also include work that has or does contribute to the formation of arms control policy through professional engagements with the broader arms control community of the U.S. Government (USG), the private sector, and academia. The instructor shall develop, prepare, and present the following blocks of instruction for each Fundamentals of Strategic Arms Control Implementation Course:
An overview of the history of strategic arms control from 1968 to the present:
Selected topics or issues (to be specified by the Government) pertaining to INF, START, and New START (i.e., technical issues, implementation topics, etc.). Will serve as an expert perspective regarding the arms control concepts, national security priorities, and relevant arms control treaties—to include INF—that formed the basis of the original START compared to those supporting the New START. The perspective should also be representative of emerging nuclear arms control regime policies and risk reduction measures from USG stakeholders, private industry, and academia.
The instructor will provide briefing materials and participate in panel discussions regarding relevant arms control treaties, agreements, and risk reduction measures, to include challenges to future nuclear agreement negotiations and implementation.

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or work experience in lieu of degree. - Experience:
10+ years of related experience in National Security and Training for the DTRA program. - Security clearance level: TS/SCI clearance required
- This is a part-time/casual role that requires working on site and travel as needed.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $67.15 - $90.85. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
