This industry leader is seeking a highly experienced and driven Vice President of Talent & Development to lead, produce, and scale our recruiting and delivery organization within the Clearance Staffing Space. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned leader who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to help shape the future of a rapidly expanding staffing and consulting practice. As a company approaching $100MM and growing exponentially, they are investing heavily in strengthening their Talent, Recruiting, and Delivery engine.
This position will play a critical role in building the infrastructure, methodology, and processes that fuel their next stage of growth.
This is a hands‑on, production‑focused VP role.
80% of this role is individual recruiting, sourcing, delivery execution, and driving cleared talent production.
20% is leadership, training, development, and building the recruiting infrastructure and methodology. The ideal candidate is someone who still loves to recruit, excels at cleared staffing, and can produce at a high level while simultaneously building the systems, processes, and training programs that will scale their Talent organization across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Acquisition & Delivery Leadership (80%)
- Lead high output recruiting efforts with a strong focus on Clearance talent (TS/SCI, CI Poly, FS Poly, etc.).
- Personally execute sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and delivery activities to meet aggressive production goals.
- Build and maintain robust cleared pipelines to support East Coast and national client demand.
- Drive recruiting KPIs and ensure consistent delivery excellence across all active programs.
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Delivery leaders to align recruiting output with business needs.
- Optimize workflow, CRM/ATS utilization, and process consistency across teams.
- Talent Development & Infrastructure Building (20%)
- Develop and implement training programs to upskill recruiters and delivery personnel.
- Create methodology, frameworks, and recruiting playbooks tailored to Clearance staffing.
- Improve CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting tools and processes.
- Establish staffing performance standards, competency models, and career pathways.
- Support multiple business units and ensure alignment on delivery expectations and best practices.
- Extensive experience in Clearance staffing with deep knowledge of the cleared talent market.
- Proven ability to recruit cleared talent at a high production level.
- Strong background in staffing methodology, pipeline development, sourcing strategy, and CRM/ATS optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage KPIs, dashboards, and delivery performance metrics.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid, cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong executive communication skills, leadership presence, and ability to influence across business units.
