Position Title: Microsoft Project Server Administrator/Integrator (Mid) #1733
Required Clearance: TS/SCI
Geographic Location: Springfield, VA
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting Windows and Linux Server Operating systems, including MS Project Server
- Working with system owners and stakeholders to define requirements
- Reviewing system logs and vulnerability mitigation
- Application setup and configuration, audit compliance, cloud resource management
- Primarily focusing on MS Project Server administration and system integration on AWS
- Supporting users and maintaining applications, servers, and databases
- Server maintenance, hardware/software troubleshooting, and system administration in a cloud environment
Examples of Work Tasks:
- Planning, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers and applications on AWS
- Implementing SSL Certificates for applications and servers
- Installing and administering MS Project 2019 Server or equivalent (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle)
- AWS System Administration including virtual server setup and security configuration
Required Experience:
- Installation, configuration, and administration of MS Project Server
- Server management in Linux and Windows environments
- Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, or Linux system administration
- Experience with database administration (DB2, Oracle, MSSQL)
- Application server administration and troubleshooting
- LDAP authentication knowledge
- Web server installation and configuration, including Reverse Proxy
- SSL Certificate implementation and configuration
Desired Experience:
- MS Project Server (2016 or 2019) administration
Cloud Technology Experience:
- Managing AWS or other cloud environments, including VPCs and EC2 instances
- Configuring and maintaining web applications across systems
- Implementing Single Sign-On capabilities
- Troubleshooting across multiple environments
- Managing cloud infrastructure and security policies
Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree plus 4 years, or 6+ years relevant experience
