Riptide Technology is hiring a great opportunity for a Service Now (SNOW) Developer - active TS/SCI clearance
. This position will be based in Springfield, VA and the position is required to be onsite.
This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do
The Service Now (SNOW) Developer will perform configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the SNOW instances and business processes.
Required Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:
- Shall have 7 or more years of progressive hands-on experience administering Enterprise IT operations in one or more of the following technical areas: networking, storage, availability, server management, desktop management, systems administration, software development, cybersecurity, engineering, and/or architecture.
- Shall have 3 or more years of direct, hands-on development experience with the Service Now platform.
- Certifications:
- Shall possess the Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) Certification.
- Clearance:
- This position will require an active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
- The position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
- Working experience on the NOW platform on the Madrid release or newer.
- Designing and developing custom scope applications and Service Now core applications.
- Proficiency in gathering requirements, analyzing existing workflows or processes and delivering appropriate solutions with the Service Now platform.
- Contributing to architecture discussions and documenting code for secure deployments of applications.
- Utilizing out-of-the box platform applications and conducting modifications to rapidly deliver solutions to end-users.
- Developing application-related fields, forms, views, modifications, and mapping roles and access controls.
- Integrating the NOW platform's API with third party technologies.
- Developing and designing process and solution integration, workflow, design/configuration, and reporting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University;
- OR Certification: One or more SNOW certifications, such as the Service Now Certified Systems Administrator Certification.
- Experience with the Romeo platform or newer is strongly preferred.
- Advance Service Now certifications, such as the Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Knowledge of Java script, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- ITILv4 Intermediate certification(s) or strong background in application/service delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

$205,000 - $230,000 a year
401(k) company contribution equivalent to 10% of employee's salary, immediately 100% vested, no matching required. 100% company paid dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Employer-provider health insurance, employee and family coverage, 85% company paid. 6 weeks annual paid time off for holidays, vacation, and sick leave. 12 weeks paid family leave, 2-5 days bereavement leave, and 2 weeks Military Reserve Duty differential pay provided for qualifying events.
