ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Platform Developer to help define, build, and enhance our containerization and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) infrastructure. This role is well-suited for a platform-focused engineer with strong Linux and Kubernetes expertise who excels at designing, deploying, and supporting modern cloud-native systems. The position will play a key role in migrating Python and .NET workloads to containerized environments while establishing best practices for infrastructure-as-code and scalable platform operations.

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop and implement containerization strategies to modernize legacy applications.
• Configure and manage physical hardware infrastructure supporting containerized workloads.
• Contribute to Python application codebases and design deployment strategies for Python workloads across both cloud and air-gapped environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Azure Bicep and Kubernetes Helm charts.
• Partner with development teams to define and promote “Golden Path” patterns for containerized application deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support CI/CD pipeline integrations and develop automation workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation for platform architecture, operational procedures, and best practices.

• Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
• 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, Dev Ops, or a related technical role.
• 2+ years of experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, workload deployment, and day‑to‑day management.
• Proficiency in Python, with the ability to contribute to application code and understand deployment requirements.
• Experience working with physical hardware, including server configuration, maintenance, and on‑premise infrastructure support.
• Solid understanding of containerization principles and Docker or other container runtime technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.

• Experience deploying GPU‑accelerated Python applications for machine learning inference or other compute‑intensive workloads.
• Experience building and maintaining hardened container images aligned with NIST security standards.
• Hands‑on experience supporting air‑gapped or highly restricted deployment environments.
• Familiarity with container security scanning tools and vulnerability management practices.
• Knowledge of zero‑trust architecture principles and service mesh technologies.
