Job Description:

We are looking for highly energetic, TS-SCI cleared, IT professionals
who are interested in joining our seasoned team of technologists. We are
focused on driving significant enhancements in the efficiency and
effectiveness of enterprise-wide IT operations and performing routine
O&M for an IC agency. The program itself supports a broad range of IT
enterprise services for end-users around the globe, with smaller project
teams that focus on particular areas (i.e. Platform as a Service,
Application Services, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, API
Management, etc.). We are looking for hands-on professionals, team
players, and engaged individuals who enjoy keeping up with the latest

Specific

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Development of Virtualized Packages for Mission Baseline
Applications

- Applications to be consumed by VDI sessions and thick clients

- Validation of mission application behavior with application testers
and mission SMEs

- Incorporation of required sequencing changes into the app sequencing
process

- Identification of user application settings that need to be
persisted in a non-persistent VDI environment

- Identification of automation opportunities for application
sequencing

- Assistance with application delivery infrastructure configuration as
needed

- Improvement of backup/Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations

- Articulation of knowledge in written designs, test plans, and
implementation plans

- Performance of work without appreciable direction

- Working with VMware software defined data center products for
troubleshooting and performance tuning

- Analysis, testing, and application of regular security patches and
software updates

- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and training for
team members

- Incident resolution and fulfillment of software requests

Required

Qualifications and Skills:

- 5+ years of experience with Systems Administration/Virtualization

- 8140.01M IAT Level II certification

- 3+ years of experience with VDI technologies, including VMware
Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps

- 2+ years of experience with Citrix Xen App or similar application
virtualization technology

Desired

Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience with Windows Desktop (10/11) and Server (2012+) Operating
Systems

- Utilization of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Power Shell)

- Experience with non-persistent desktop environments

- Experience with profile management solutions like VMware DEM

- Familiarity with Active Directory, specifically Group Policy

- Understanding of load-balancing application delivery services

- Familiarity with ITIL principles

- Able to create architectural design documents and presentations

- Able to test and apply hardware and software updates

- Understanding of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF

- Virtualization compute environment certification, e.g., VMware
Certified Associate for Data Center Virtualization

- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Service+, Service Now, Remedy
