Power BI Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Power BI Analyst to join our team supporting a National law enforcement agency NOC. This team provides support services for Network(s) Management, Operations, and Maintenance for all Network(s) infrastructure. Support includes providing real-time incident monitoring, predictive and proactive analysis and reporting, incident resolution and escalation, problem management and resolution, coordinating of events related to network communications, network utilization and availability analysis and reporting.

The NOC is staffed 24x7x365 with three (3) shifts of mid to senior level contract technicians, and handles approximately 4,000 tickets a month.

• The Power BI analyst transforms raw data into insights that shape business decisions.
• The Power BI analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, transform data, and deliver high-quality visual reports and dashboards that drive decision-making.
• Responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs, analyzing datasets to uncover trends and insights, maintaining data accuracy and integrity within BI systems, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

• Experience:
  
  At least a minimum of six (6) years’ experience in creating Power BI dashboards.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
• Background Investigation is required
• Certifications preferred include:
  Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
• Expertise in creating Power BI dashboards.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques.
