IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
The Technical Program Manager oversees the full development life cycle for DHS network programs, including project management, budget operations, strategic planning, and progress tracking. The role leverages a strong technical background to implement technology strategies, lead teams of network engineers and architects, develop roadmaps, apply best practices, and manage repeatable processes. Responsibilities also include evaluating network tools, gathering user requirements, identifying gaps or product advantages, and advising DHS on stewardship and program health.
The TPM must proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, perform research and development—including product bake-offs—maintain project data across SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence, and deliver weekly status updates as well as monthly Program Management Reports (PMRs) with invoicing summaries.
- 15 years experience leading programs supporting network systems and infrastructure with over 5,500 field sites, 2 or more datacenters/colocation facilities, and 250,000+ users.
