Position Title: Acquisition Specialist(Lifecycle Acquisition-Senior)

Location: Springfield, VA

Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Overall Assignment Description:

• Functions as theadvisorfor the Government Technical Point of Contact (POC) and the Program Office.
• Provide contractualand financialknowledgeand assistance to theTIAMprogramoffices.

Duties include:

• Review contractor engineering change proposals and providereviewsto theprogramoffice.
• Coordinate cost estimates and performance work statement updates forTIAMprogramoffices, Agency finance, the appropriate project teams, andthe Office of Contracting Services.
• Attendingmonthly Program Management Review Boards and Budget Management review Boards.
• Support development ofacquisition documents, to include Source Selection Plans, Acquisition Plans,andbudget documents.
• Assist in tracking and managing contract deliverables, to include the contract funding status reports (CFSRs),and invoices.
• Assisting in managing the program funds. Tracking spending, earned value,and routing funding documents.
• Maintain
  
  TIAMbusiness office artifacts using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Identify technical issues and communicate impacts.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• 12 years’ overall experience
• 8 years' experience for each requirement that uses the word “specialized”
• Demonstratedspecializedexperience with:
• Acquisition documentation and principals: contracting, contracting documents, the FAR, the contracting process,Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Performance Work Statements(PWSs), theacquisitionprocess and lifecyclemanagement.
• Budgeting and funding basics, such as, fiscal years,appropriations,and IC orDoDbudgeting process.
• Bachelor’s degreein Business or Business related field,or equivalent work experience.

Desired:

• Master’s degreeinabusinessrelated field.
• Demonstrated understandingwith/of:
• IC orDoDsystems architecture and engineering.
• Program management experience in terms of cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
• Agency Mission andacquisitionprocess.
• Agency Configuration Management (CM) process.
• Source Selection process.
