Position Overview

ZenPoint Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior User Engagement & Communications Specialist to help drive product adoption, user satisfaction, and clear communication across our organizational footprint. In this role, you will support a mission-critical enterprise application managed by our team. You will serve as a bridge between technical product development and the end-user community, creating engaging content, gathering user feedback, and assisting with onboarding and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft clear, accessible, and engaging user communications, including release notes, monthly newsletters, feature updates, and system announcements.
  • Create and maintain user-facing documentation, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and self-service training materials.
  • Develop multi-channel content (e.g., email digests, one-pagers, quick-reference guides) to keep users informed about application changes and enhancements.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating user engagement sessions, webinars, office hours, and product demos.
  • Monitor user feedback channels, surveys, and support trends to synthesize actionable insights and identify key opportunities for enhancement.
  • Build and nurture a champion network within the user community to promote best practices and encourage product adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Support teams to translate complex technical features into intuitive, user-friendly language.
  • Track engagement metrics (e.g., email open rates, guide views, event attendance) to evaluate the impact of communication strategies.
  • Participate in release planning to ensure change management and user readiness activities align with technical deployment schedules.
  • Coordinate pilot activities and provide advanced application customer support and problem resolution to a global user base, to support successful application implementation and sustainment.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
  • 1-2 years of professional or internship experience in corporate communications, technical writing, marketing, product support, or user enablement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical language into clear, concise, and accessible content.
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace) and internal collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Teams).
  • Strong user advocacy, keen attention to detail, and a proactive, curious approach to learning complex workflows.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive tasks to completion with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic familiarity with graphic design/visual tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Snagit, Figma) for creating quick visual guides or infographics.
  • Familiarity with email delivery tools, survey platforms, or analytics dashboards.
  • Prior exposure to working within Agile software development frameworks or enterprise IT environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Familiarity with working in or supporting the federal government, particularly the Department of State.
  • Experience using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro to create or edit video content, such as training videos and product walkthroughs.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
