Department: SECURITY INK PRODUCTION
To strengthen our Springfield team, we are looking for an
INK OPERATOR
ROLE
Produce ink efficiently and safely in Springfield, VA
PROFILE
- Manufacture ink according to existing procedures
- Produce to set daily goals
- Use all safety equipment as instructed by the SOPs, and Regulatory Affairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Tub room duties as required
- Assoc. degree in a technical discipline preferred; or High School graduate with 2-4 years’ work experience.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt, ensuring continuous improvement and effective problem-solving
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to Detail:
Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors gages, and instruments of process; ensures concentration on routine work details. - Quality of Work:
Maintains high standards despite pressing deadlines; does work right the first time; corrects own errors, regularly produces accurate, thorough, professional work. - Reliability:
Personally responsible; keeps commitments. - Write and perform math at a high school level
- Ability to roll tub weighing up to 2,000 pounds
- Ability to wear and use safety equipment
- Must be a US Citizen or have 3 years of Permanent Residency in the US prior to starting positio

Hourly rate: $24.50 per hour + depending on shift you are working a shift differential (if applicable)
