In-Place Monitoring System Lead Support Full-time On-site in Springfield, VA

Learn more at our website:  . We are currently looking for passionate, mission-driven individuals with expertise and experience in In-Place Monitoring Systems to support our federal client. Experience working in or with agency security offices or directorates is a plus. This position is contingent on an upcoming contract award to our firm. Duties may include:
* Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the garrison IPMS, resolve and coordinate IPMS anomalies with TSCM personnel

* Research and investigate new or improved industry practices and tradecraft for application to the agency IPMS programs/operations

* Conduct Daily IPMS activities which can include:

* Perform daily tactical analysis according to procedure guide and established time frames

* Perform strategic analysis according to procedure guide and within established time frames

* Perform daily, monthly and annual operations and maintenance tasks according to established policies and time frames

* Identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions and report findings/status to customer

* Perform Radio Frequency signal of interest related searches

* Assess and locate signals of interested discovered during surveys, system notification and IPMS operations

* Conduct TSCM operations consistent with National and DoD policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and procedures

* Ensure compliance with ICD 705, Physical Security Standards for SCIFs, and DoD standards for collateral areas

* Identify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate the identified deficiencies

* Analyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements

* Provide recommendations and guidance for facilities under construction

* Assist with maintenance and day-to-day monitoring of IPMS program in order to maintain mission functionality and authorization to operate in the enterprise environment

* Assist in determining best practices related to IPMS and wireless efforts

* Conduct IPMS operations consistent with National and DoD policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and procedures

* Ensure all personnel assigned to the IPMS mission are trained in accordance with National standards for the conduct of TSCM operations and are qualified to operate the in-garrison IPMS as well as understand and comply with IPMS regulations Required

Skills and Experience:

* Experience writing and editing of technical documents

* Shall have experience with RF theory and direction finding

* Shall have an Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification

* Shall complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year. The training delivery may include classroom, on-line, or commercially-available training, or exercise.

* Shall meet minimum training requirements, within one calendar year of assignment, for access to DoD networks in accordance with DoDD 8140.01, by attaining and maintaining at least baseline certification for DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT2) compliance Culture & Benefits
