EMR Certified Security Officers - Training shifts

EMR Certified Security Officers - We Provide Training! (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am shifts) — Join Erickson Senior Living at Greenspring Village as a Security and Emergency Services (SES) Officer. You will implement the SES Program under the Supervisor's direction, perform regular property patrols, provide relief staffing at the gatehouse, and respond to non-emergency service calls. Training for EMR certification is provided.

• Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and grounds
• Conduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Receive and respond to non-emergency service calls from dispatch by radio or telephone
• Respond to community emergencies (fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, evacuations)
• Create a positive first impression of the community
• Screen vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community
• Document visitors and vendors/contractors and provide parking passes, maps, and directions as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Prior experience in security preferred
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, family members, staff, vendors, and each other
• Ability to document daily activities clearly and concisely

Compensation: $20 per hour
