Join a mission-critical software development team building browser-based applications in support of the agency’s cybersecurity risk management practice. We are leveraging a modern tech stack deployed in the Amazon cloud, including React/NodeJS, NextJS, python, Docker, SQL Server, and AWS services including Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS, EC2, and S3.
Key Responsibilities- Manage data storage and access using SQL database technology
- Develop and troubleshoot SQL-based collateral in support of application development requirements.
- Utilize AWS services like Lambda, Glue, S3, and EC2 to support ETL-based data synchronization.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Develop robust Dev Sec Ops CI/CD pipelines for code validation and deployment.
- Collaborate with security team to ensure secure and reliable deployments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with backend database development.
- Expert-level SQL coding skills.
- Experience with AWS data transformation services.
- Experience developing data pipelines in AWS.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of secure coding best practices.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including FISMA RMF familiarity.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with python and Windows Power Shell scripting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer management and user support skills.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
