Overview
Gymnastics Coach (Part-Time) at The St. James – Springfield, VA. Reports to the Director of Gymnastics.
Responsibilities- Coach and instruct athletes individually and in groups using proper techniques and equipment
- Assist the Director and coaching staff with athlete supervision during meets, showcases, and events
- Lead or support training sessions for both boys and girls
- Help maintain training equipment and supplies
- Build positive relationships with athletes, families, and The St. James community
- Prioritize the safety of all members, guests, and staff
- Minimum 2 years of coaching experience (1 year for Assistant Coaches); leadership experience preferred
- Level 3 coaching and tumbling experience are a plus
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices in sports and wellness
