Rate: $22.00/hour + Benefits

• Prepare the operatory with the necessary instruments and materials for scheduled dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction, or suction as needed.
• Sterilize dental instruments and disinfect the operatory between patient visits.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Perform laboratory tasks, including mixing impression material for dentures, and assist with prosthetic dentistry procedures.
• Develop and mount routine radiographs to aid in dental assessments and treatment planning.
• Maintain and update dental charts and records, documenting findings accurately.
• Follow security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled substances, ensuring a safe environment.
• Participate in disaster drills and adhere to Yes Care’s safety and security policies.
• Adhere to Universal Precautions and infection control practices to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Inventory and order dental supplies to maintain proper stock levels for continuous operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
• Must pass a background check, security clearance, and drug screening.
