Welder

Staffmark is seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Springville, AL. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, can read blueprints, and are committed to quality and safety, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $20.78/hour

Schedule:

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures
• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings per job requirements
• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications
• Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine safety checks
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• Keep workstations clean and organized

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical instructions
• Skilled in using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, weld gauges)
• Familiarity with different metals and appropriate welding methods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification or technical training a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
