As a member of the Feed Production team, the Mixing & Batching Operator is responsible for operating machinery including mixers, extruders and grinders in the feed production area.

This is a full-time role with benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental 401K Matching, PTO etc.)

Responsibilities include:

• Follow batch sheets and accurately measure ingredients
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Responsible for food safety and cleanliness of all feed production areas and machinery
• Meet quality standard and SQF guidelines
• Participate in company-wide 5-S (Lean Manufacturing) program and trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 Lbs. on a regular basis
• Weekend availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Team player
• Experience in manufacturing and production environments

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
