Position OverviewRole will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share within a designated region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and nurturing relationships and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical device industry with a proven track record of success in their territory.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Responsible for building relationships with advanced selling techniques (e.g., Miller Heiman, TAS, Spin Selling, etc.)
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets
- Conduct territory reviews and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s capabilities, including market trends and competitive landscape
- Define long‑term and short‑term sales strategy for the region
- Achieve satisfactory profit margin(s) with each account
- Work closely with engineering and program management office to execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and drive market expansion
- Maintain accurate and timely records, sales forecasts and account activity reports including pipeline progress in the CRM system
- Coordinate closely with BD specialists for collaborative handoffs
- Travel as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
- 8+ years sales experience in the medical device industry
- Proven experience in growing key customer business year over year
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines as established by internal/external customers
- Experience in solution selling
- Proven record of developing deep customer relationships and seen as a value contributor by customers
- Ability to effectively present information to senior management, intercompany groups and any individual or group representing our customer
