Ecommerce & Shopify Developer

We are hiring an  Ecommerce & Shopify Developer  who can build, customize, debug, and optimize Shopify storefronts while understanding ecommerce UX, conversion, and performance data.

The candidate should be comfortable using AI coding tools, but must be capable of  reviewing, debugging, validating, and improving AI-generated code  before deployment. They should understand business and client requirements, translate them into functionality, and proactively identify website, tracking, UX, or conversion issues.
The role requires strong ownership, objective orientation, and the ability to connect technical work with business outcomes such as conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion, page speed, and tracking accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes, sections, product pages, landing pages, cart flows, and ecommerce features.
Build and maintain  Shopify public and private/custom apps , including integrations with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party systems.
Use AI tools to accelerate development while independently reviewing, debugging, and validating the code.
Understand client/business requirements around functionality, UX, analytics, and conversion improvement.
Monitor ecommerce performance and build systems or alerts to flag drops in conversion, speed, tracking, or funnel performance.
Investigate performance drops, identify likely causes, prepare recommended next steps, and take approval before implementation.
Integrate and troubleshoot apps, pixels, analytics tools, payment/checkout tools, and marketing platforms.
Required Skills
Strong Shopify development experience:
Liquid, themes, metafields, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
Experience building  Shopify public apps and private/custom apps .
Good understanding of Shopify APIs, webhooks, app integrations, and ecommerce workflows.
Ability to debug Shopify theme, app, tracking, and frontend issues independently.
Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Shopify Analytics, and basic funnel analysis.
Comfort with AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and ownership mindset.
Good to Have

Experience with  Amazon SP-API .

Experience with Shopify Plus, checkout extensibility, Hydrogen, or headless commerce.
Experience building dashboards, alerts, or automated reports for ecommerce performance.
Understanding of CRO, A/B testing, attribution, paid media tracking, and marketplace integrations.
