An established and growing accountancy practice in St Albans is looking to strengthen its Private Client Tax team with the appointment of an experienced Tax Senior.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in personal tax and wants to develop their experience across a varied private client portfolio, with good exposure to more complex work and progression opportunities.

An established and growing accountancy practice in St Albans is looking to strengthen its Private Client Tax team with the appointment of an experienced Tax Senior.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in personal tax and wants to develop their experience across a varied private client portfolio, with good exposure to more complex work and progression opportunities.

You'll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners, looking after a portfolio of private clients and taking responsibility for a broad range of personal tax matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
• Advising HNW individuals, business owners and private clients
• Dealing with partnerships and more complex personal tax affairs
• Supporting on tax planning and advisory work
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and services
• Supporting junior members of the team and reviewing work where appropriate
• Working alongside the wider tax and accounts teams

• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong personal/private client tax experience
• Experience managing your own portfolio
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients
• ATT qualified or working towards qualification would be advantageous
• CTA qualification or progression towards CTA would be beneficial
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Someone who wants to continue developing their advisory experience
