The Role

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Completing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHCs) and reporting findings accurately
  • Providing technical advice and recommendations to Service Advisors and customers where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records
  • Participating in ongoing manufacturer and technical training
About You
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Car Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician
  • Around 2 years' workshop experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a busy workshop team
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to continue learning and developing
