As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Completing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHCs) and reporting findings accurately
- Providing technical advice and recommendations to Service Advisors and customers where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records
- Participating in ongoing manufacturer and technical training
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Car Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician
- Around 2 years' workshop experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a busy workshop team
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to continue learning and developing
