Deputy Nursery Manager – Banana Moon Day Nursery, St Albans
A well‑respected childcare provider dedicated to promoting children’s growth and development in a nurturing environment. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in delivering high‑quality education and care to our children.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery management, including staff supervision and development.
- Ensure the nursery complies with regulatory standards and statutory requirements.
- Implement and evaluate educational programs to promote children’s learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and families, ensuring effective communication.
- Oversee daily operations, including health, safety, and safeguarding practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery practices and quality of care.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Deputy or similar leadership role within an early years setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant legislation.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current DBS check and safeguarding training are essential.
