The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate or Apprenticeship pathway Building Surveyor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of surveying services. You will work closely with senior surveyors and directors, contributing to both professional and project‑based work.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with technical surveys, inspections, and site visits
- Supporting the preparation of:
- Condition Surveys
- Dilapidations reports
- Party Wall matters
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Assisting in the delivery of project work, including new build, refurbishment and maintenance schemes
- Contract administration duties, including site inspections and reporting
- Preparing designs, specifications, and schedules of works
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Supporting compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
- Maintaining accurate project and client records
We are looking for someone who is:
- Educated to degree level in Building Surveying (RICS accredited) or Apprenticeship pathway (RICS accredited) working towards APC qualification.
- Keen to progress towards MRICS status
- A strong communicator with a professional approach
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented
- Proactive, with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence
- Structured RICS APC training and mentorship
- Exposure to a wide range of projects and clients
