Senior Site Manager; Aftercare

Position: Senior Site Manager (Aftercare)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Aftercare Manager to join a leading main contractor, overseeing the successful delivery and close-out of high-value construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, education, mixed-use and commercial schemes, with a proven track record of managing projects from construction through to completion and aftercare. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors and trades, managing defects and snagging, ensuring programme and quality targets are achieved, and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

A strong understanding of construction processes, specifications and contractual requirements is essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

This is a client-facing role, requiring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent the contractor at site meetings and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams. Candidates should ideally come from a Tier 1 main contracting or strong trades background, with significant experience in site management and/or aftercare on complex schemes. You will be commercially aware, highly organised and solutions-focused, with the leadership skills required to drive standards, resolve issues and deliver an exceptional handover and aftercare service.
